CINDY LEACH

RSW

For more than 35 years, I have walked alongside people navigating stress, trauma, transition, and healing. My work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. As a Registered Social Worker since 2005, I focus on creating a warm, culturally responsive space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward the life they want.

Clients come to me for many reasons—overwhelm, grief, identity exploration, family conflict, anxiety, or simply needing a place to breathe and be understood. My role is to meet you where you are, honour your strengths, and support you in making meaningful, sustainable change.

I provide individual, family, and group counselling, and I also support youth and adults through specialized programs including WSIB, Victim Services (VQRP), and the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Program. As a Clinical Consultant with Laurencrest Youth Services Inc., I help ensure that young people receive trauma informed, developmentally attuned care. I am also trained in MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) agreements and offer informed, ethical support that centres dignity, autonomy, and choice.
Many clients appreciate my calm, practical, and down to earth approach. I work collaboratively, helping you understand what’s happening, what’s possible, and what steps feel right for you. I also mentor emerging therapists, ensuring that the next generation of helpers is grounded in ethical, trauma informed practice.

Outside of my work, I’m inspired by travel, art, reading, and time with family. I also find freedom and clarity riding my Harley Davidson—something that reminds me daily of the importance of balance, joy, and authenticity.

If you’re looking for support, I’m here to help you feel safe, understood, and empowered as you navigate whatever comes next.
