My vision and promise

I provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from diverse backgrounds and varying socio-economic contexts. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, non-monogamous & kink friendly, and experience working with consensual non-monogamy (ethical non-monogamy, open relationships & polyamory). My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain and create change to be where you want to be in your life.

Therapeutic approach

My focus is to help individuals heal, energize and become aware of their inner strengths.  As no two people are the same, I use an eclectic approach, meaning that I use the approach that best suits your needs.  The types of therapy and theories that I draw from include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused, Mindfulness-based (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Attachment-Based, Family Systems Therapy and Trauma Focused. 

Trauma & PTSD

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances.  Anxiety, fear and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events.  Tired of feeling tense all the time, having a short fuse, being confused, difficulties concentrating or experiencing overwhelming emotions? I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of relief and change.

Depression and Anxiety

Depression, fear and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives.  Do you want relief from the effects of stress, insomnia, constant worrying or from your mind always racing? Through counselling I am able to help you recover motivation and the joy you once had in our life so that you can enjoy yourself again and learn ways to cope with stress.


I can help you learn a flexible and practical way to develop skills, strategies and the confidence to handle any parenting situation while practicing calm parenting. 


My role is to guide couples to improve how they interact in their relationships. To provide a safe space for the couple to identify problems in the relationship and work together to create positive change. Couples will learn new methods of communication and the importance for both individuals to participate to create change.
